If you are in 4-H, you can register your horse as Pinto for a
50% discounted rate.
Must be done through the National office, cannot be done with the "on the spot" registration
You must have/show proof of 4-H membership
On The Spot Registratiion
The requirements for "Field Registration" of horses with PtHA are as follows:
Field Represenitive Registration cost.......................................$95
PtHA Membership fee............................................................$40
Non-Member fee....................................................................$50
You will need 4 pictures of your horse: front, right side, left side, rear.
Pictures can be taken at the time of registration.
If your horse is registered with another breed, you will need to provide a copy of the registration. If the Dam is registered with an acceptible out cross breed, a copy of her papers will also be required. Otherwise a breeding certificate will be required in order to show ancestry on the registration form.
Please plan to come early if you would like a field represenitive to register your horse before the show: this way we can prevent any delays which could cause you to miss your early class.
The Conditional Registratiion Certificate you will receive allows you to show at all PtHA events for up to 90 days or until the application is accepted or rejected by the PtHA registration department. All final determination of registration eligibility remains with the PtHA office.
Personal checks, cash, or credit cards are accepted for payment . Please make them out to PtHA, not the show you are attending .
