ON THE SPOT REGISTRATION
The requirements for "FIELD REGISTRATION" of horses with PtHA are as follows:
Field Representative Registration cost .......................................................$ 80.00
PtHA membership fee...............................................................................$ 35.00
Non-member fee...................................................................................... $ 50.00
Will need 4 pictures of your horse: front, right side, left side and rear.
Pictures can also be taken at time of registration.
If your horse is registered with another breed, you will need to provide a copy of that
registration. If the dam is registered with an acceptable out cross breed, a copy of
her papers will also be required. Otherwise a breeding certificate will be required
in order to show ancestry on the registration form.
Please plan to come early if you would like a field representative to register your horse
before the show; this way we can prevent any delays which could cause you to miss
your early class.
The Conditional Registration Certificate you will receive allows you to show at all PtHA
events for up to 90 days or until the application is accepted or rejected by the PtHA
registration department. All final determination of registration eligibility remains with
PtHA office.
Personal checks, cash, or credit cards are accepted for payment. Please make them out
to PtHA, (not the show you are attending)
50% Discount
If you are in 4H, you can register your horse Pinto for 50% discounted rate. Must show proof of 4H membership.
**Must be done through the National office cannot be done on the spot.**

2012 High Point Awards!
Cedar Rapids is located on I-380 and US Highway 30, 151 and 218. Kirkwood Community College is just south of Highway 30 and I-380 interchange.
From I-380, take Exit 13 (Wright Brothers Blvd) and go East to Kirkwood Blvd. Then turn left (Kirkwood Blvd) and go North until 76th Avenue Drive SW and turn right. The Iowa Equestrian Center will be on the right.
The Iowa Equestrian Center has a mailing address that is different from the Center's physical address. The physical address is 801 76th Avenue Drive SW. **Please note that both Avenue and Drive must be input into GPS and computer systems as the address to arrive at the correct destination.**
The Eastern Iowa Airport and area lodging are within five miles of the Kirkwood campus.

-Copies of PtHA registration papers
-PtHA membership cards
-Out of state exhibitors need to have current negative Coggins and Health Papers.
